I'll update if I pull the encoder out to take a look. Gonna use the Player 2 button for it since this is currently for a party of one. Pac Man 8 in 1 encoder? Everything lines up perfectly but I'm missing the "Drill" button for Dig Dug 2. Pac Man 8 in 1 uses the latest DOE panel ( DV170YGZ-N10) like NBA Jam and TMNT. Haven't checked the other buttons because you can see where the display started doing strange stuff on the left side so I powered it down to not damage it.
** Power switch works, as does the joystick, but the volume doesn't. Pretty sure the encoder board wouldn't affect the display, but not sure why this is displaying this way. u/berryberrysneaky has a pic of a GB-CON-2 V01, on what he calls a gen 5a, while mine (Pac Man) looks the same and is a V02. Only difference I see is the encoder board may be a slight revision. I'm not completely sure if the monitors are the same, but the one I'm trying to use is a M167XGBN30-01A. Pacman into a Pac Man, and the board revisions are the same. Anyone know what's going on here? Trying to drop a Ms.
